Transforming sports event management through digital experiences.
Project
Starter Plan
The Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon needed a website that honours a national hero while making it simple for thousands of runners to sign up. We planned the journey around three questions every visitor has: why this run matters, which race to choose and what happens before race day. That shaped the key sections: the legacy of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, race categories with route maps, and a pre-event expo guide for defence personnel and general participants.

Overview
The Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon at AFS Yelahanka, Bengaluru is run in memory of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, PVC, the Indian Air Force’s only recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. Brand Bytes designed the event website, covering UI/UX design, website design and the overall digital experience.
A deep navy and orange palette, archival imagery and bold typography give the site the pride and energy of the Air Force. The hero brings together the date, a clear registration button and a live countdown, while a running ticker keeps key dates like bib collection and race day in view.
Each race category has its own route map, start time, cut-off, price and minimum age, and the expo section explains bib collection, timings and venue for every participant. The result is an inspiring, easy-to-use platform that helps runners register with confidence and arrive ready to run with pride.
